About
The "Big I, little t" Blog is for anyone who is interested in the issues, trends and opportunities in the Information Technology and document management industry.
Why "Big I, little t"? Because at Xerox we believe that, for too long, the emphasis has been on the technology side of the IT equation — with too little time spent on the information piling up in IT infrastructure. Now the focus is shifting. Technology for technology's sake is a thing of the past.
"Big I, little t" is about how information flows: where it goes, who it touches, and the value it delivers — not just how the technologies work.
The intent of this blog is to provide an open exchange where people who touch information technology can discuss what's on their minds, share ideas and highlight best practices. While hosted by Xerox, this space is intended to be a place where discussion is about industry hot topics, not specific products or vendors.
It's also a place to listen, and we welcome the opportunity to connect Xerox executives, researchers, engineers and others with industry experts, customers and representatives from enterprises of every kind. We hope you'll participate and share your thoughts and experiences as we work together to make Information Technology more about the "I," not just the "t".
Because of the open nature of this medium, posts and comments are independent of the views of Xerox and do not always represent Xerox's positions, strategies or opinions. For more information please contact Wende Knapp at info@bigilittletblog.com.
